Green salsa and chips
Guava Cream Cheese Empanadas
Uber Easy Guava Cream Cheese Empanadas
1 package of empanada wraps (Fiesta has the Goya packs of 12)
1 package of guava paste
1 package of cream cheese at room temperature
1 egg white
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Slice up the guava paste and cheese into 12 thin slices.
3. Place a guava slice and cheese slice onto half of the empanada wrap.
4. Fold. Use forks and egg white to seal. Repeat.
5. Bake in the oven about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
The green salsa was made by a guest who did not give the recipe, but fortunately there is a blogosphere of foodies out there.
Pies are delicious, especially pocket sized!
